TCCT site car parks reopen

UPDATE: Coronavirus and Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust:

From this morning (13th May 2020) we have reopened our car parks at Berry Head National Nature Reserve, Sharkham Point and Cockington Higher Lodge. Following the Prime Minister’s update on Sunday 10th May regarding the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, we reviewed how we would be able to reopen car parks and public toilets safely. Whilst our car parks have reopened we are not able to reopen our toilets.

We remain working at reduced capacity which means we are unable to empty litter and dog waste bins regularly, which remain closed. Please take your litter and dog waste home with you.

We politely ask you to please follow the Countryside Code and remember to:

  • exercise social distancing of at least 2 metres apart;
  • avoid gathering with more than 2 people (outside of family members);

We are lucky to share these beautiful sites with many rare and treasured species that have made them their homes, please respect this when visiting. Thank you for your consideration and support.
