Cockington Country Park

Within the 450 acres of Cockington Country Park is a mixture of formal garden landscapes, less formal parkland and countryside. All can be explored via a network of paths and bridleways on foot or on bike!

Make sure you visit the park’s 3 formal lakes, said to date back to the medieval period when monks from Torre Abbey used them to raise fish!

Brunel Woods

At Brunel Woods discover the landscape that Brunel created before he sadly died. The garden is now woodland but many of the species and features of Brunel’s time have survived. There is a network of paths to follow and great views over the Bay. (image: Graham Andrews)
