We run events for you to uncover the wonders of our rockpools at Goodrington. Or you can simply watch out for our resident flocks or herds grazing in the fields at Berry Head, Cockington or Maidencombe. At Occombe you can get close to a new animal family at Occombe Farm Park & Play.

Meet Our Animals at Occombe Farm

Come and meet our new animal family. Cuddle the cutest bunnies and guinea pigs. Chuckle with the naughty goats. Watch the very bouncy grey-faced Dartmoor sheep and spot the different breeds of chickens including some very cool and super fluffy silkies! There are pigs and two very friendly donkeys too. Livestock

At some our sites livestock will be present like at Cockington, Maidencombe and Berry Head. They are used for traditional grazing of grasslands which is the best and well-proven solution to protecting rare and unique grassland under threat from invasive scrub.

Our cattle, largely North Devon, Aberdeen Angus and Ruby Reds are very tolerant and pose no threat to people, or dogs. In more difficult to reach areas, like at Berry Head, we use hebridean and soay sheep at various times of the year, so check signs on site for these. Please remember to keep you dog on a lead and under close control around livestock, and near cliff edges too.
