We’re working to give our Memorial Rose Garden a brighter future

The roses in our Memorial Rose Garden at Cockington Country Park have sadly reached the end of their 10 year life span and are now in need of replacement. To ensure optimal growth and prevent rose dieback disease, we need to replace both the roses and the soil.

As a result the Memorial Rose Garden will be closed for two weeks from Tuesday 5th March to enable us to carry out the works safely and efficiently.

First we will be removing the soil and then planting new roses which have been supplied by David Austin Roses.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this period and we look forward to sharing more updates with you once the works are complete.
