A Brew for the Bay: Bays Brewery Partners with TCCT for Conservation

We’re raising a glass to Bays Brewery, who have made a significant donation to help care for the beautiful places you love across Torbay and the South Devon coast.

Bays created a limited-edition guest ale, Evergreen, with 5% of proceeds going directly towards our conservation work. Bays have now sold all of their Evergreen stock to local pubs and establishments. But don’t worry: if you’re quick, you can still grab a bottle while stocks last from the Occombe Farm Café!

Thanks to the incredible support of Bays and their customers, they’ve raised over £1,000 – a fantastic contribution that’s helping us protect local wildlife, habitats, and green spaces for everyone to enjoy.

“Bays are a brilliant local business who share our passion for protecting the beautiful environment. Their support will make a real difference.” said Helen Warren, CEO of Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust.

Now we’re exciting to develop this relationship further with Bays coming onboard as a corporate Partner.

As part of this exciting collaboration, we’ve transformed one of our much-loved guinea pig houses at Occombe Farm into a microbrewery, complete with the Bays logo proudly featured at the top. And there’s more to come! Bays will be joining us for a hands-on team day in nature, and we’ll be heading to their brewery for a behind-the-scenes tour. We’re also delighted to list Bays on our website as an official corporate partner, and they’ll be adopting one of our farm animals too.

We’re proud to partner with the Trust to help protect the places that make Torbay and South Devon so special,” said Pete Salmon, Director at Bays Brewery.

He continued: “As a local brewery rooted in this community, it means a lot to support the landscape, wildlife, and people that make our home unique. We’re excited to keep building on this partnership and do even more together.”

Want to Get Involved?

We’re always looking for like-minded businesses who want to make a positive impact in their local community. Our corporate partnership options are flexible, meaningful, and a lot of fun. Whether it’s sponsoring one of our remaining guinea pig houses, getting stuck in with a volunteer day, or aligning your brand with local conservation, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s work together to keep Torbay wild, green, and thriving – for nature and for people.
