DESCRIPTION:The Cockington Christmas Caper has been organised since 2004 by local Christian Charity\, The Barnabas Sports Trust. \nThe 2023 race returns to Occombe Farm as our race HQ\, start and finish. Occombe Farm benefits from free car parking\, a wonderful cafe and lots for the family to do. \n£1 from every entry will be donated to the Torbay Coast and Country Trust\, a registered conservation charity that cares for over 1700 acres of Torbay’s most beautiful natural spaces\, including the land the race is run on. \nThe race will be approximately 8 1/2 miles. It is an off-road race on trails\, footpaths and cycle paths. SUMMARY:Tots go wild! (Term 1)
DESCRIPTION:Come experience growing vegetables in the garden\, exploring off the beaten track on the nature trail and discovering more about our animals – the farm has a lot to offer! Join us each week with your toddler\, come rain or shine and enjoy the great outdoors. Activities will vary each week and may include planting and growing in the garden\, den building\, fire lighting\, minibeast and megabeast hunting\, natural crafts and much much more! \nTuesdays 10.00am – 11.30am \nTERM 1 – booking fee £35.00 per child (5 weeks at £7.00 per child per session) \nBooking fee includes sessions on: \n·         26th April \n·         3rd May \n·         10th May \n·         17th May \n·         24th May \nMeeting point: Outside the entrance to Occombe Farm Cookery School \nSuitable for: 1 – 5yr olds (adult supervision required) \nAdditional information: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to space restrictions\, we kindly ask that each child is accompanied by a single adult only. We will have a window of 15 minutes at the start of the session for families to arrive\, as we may then move to a different location on site for our activities. Please ensure children are dressed for outdoor weather.  Babies in arms can come free of charge.
