SUMMARY:Cockington Christmas Caper
DESCRIPTION:The Cockington Christmas Caper has been organised since 2004 by local Christian Charity\, The Barnabas Sports Trust. \nThe 2023 race returns to Occombe Farm as our race HQ\, start and finish. Occombe Farm benefits from free car parking\, a wonderful cafe and lots for the family to do. \n£1 from every entry will be donated to the Torbay Coast and Country Trust\, a registered conservation charity that cares for over 1700 acres of Torbay’s most beautiful natural spaces\, including the land the race is run on. \nThe race will be approximately 8 1/2 miles. It is an off-road race on trails\, footpaths and cycle paths. Find them and unlock the answer to this simple question: Do Goats Lay Eggs? \nBubbles\, one of our resident goats\, is a bit muddled. She’s noticed lots of eggs on the farm\, all waiting to hatch. Many of her friends are sitting on them to.  All the eggs are keeping warm and snug; whether in a nest\, a hive or in some gooey jelly stuff. So why doesn’t she have an egg to look after too? Come and find out more! \nJoin in the fun! There are some new activities and Spring crafting sessions. A brand new Straw Bale Maze is waiting for play; for sliding\, climbing and hiding. And perhaps best of all\, we’re hoping there’ll be some brand new animal arrivals making an appearance too. \nCome & play! \nStandard admission applies.
