These charming characters\, gathered from Cockington\, Berry Head\, and the fields around Occombe\, come bearing a brand-new story\, a fresh mystery to solve\, and a naughty villain to defeat. \nScarecrow Trail \nDates: Saturday 21st – Tuesday 31st October 2023\, 10am – 5.30pm \nMeeting point: Occombe Farm Park & Play. Standard admission applies: Occombe Farm Park & Play Tickets and Prices \nThe Big Occombe Scarecrow Trail promises a spellbinding experience for families\, friends\, and adventurers of all ages. Spot the scarecrows\, listen to their stories\, and unlock the secrets that will guide them back to their fields. Are you ready for the challenge? Trail sheets are £2 which includes a trail sheet\, pencil and a sweet prize at the end. \nStorytelling and crafts \nSpooky Storytelling – Monday 23rd\, Wednesday 25th & Friday 27th October\, 2pm – 4pm\nHalloween Crafting session – Tuesday 24th & Thursday 26th October\, 2pm – 4pm.\nSee our On the Farm Today Board for all daily activities. This may be subject to change. \nPumpkin Patch  \nOur pumpkin patch will be open from 11.30am – 12pm and then 3.30pm – 4pm from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 31st October.* \n*Pumpkins individually priced and subject to availability. \nHalloween shopping   \nIn our Farm Shop there’s an array of Halloween themed treats\, gifts and decorations. \nKids Scarecrow Afternoon Tea   \nIn our Farm Cafe we are offering a deliciously gruesome Halloween themed afternoon tea for kids. Featuring a mouth-watering array of miniature sandwiches\, delectable cakes\, and wobbly\, colourful jelly treats. Available between 2.30pm – 4pm\, just £9.95 per child and booking is essential. DESCRIPTION:A whole day of farming fun just for kids! Help our farm rangers with feeding\, mucking out and handling of our animals. Take our sheep and goats for their walks. Learn how to do health checks\, with games and fun activities too. \n£30 per child. Suitable for children 8-16yrs. \nBooking is essential. Children can be left in our care and will be supervised at all times. Children need to bring snacks\, lunch and drinks\, sun cream and a hat. \nWe can accommodate differently abled children and our free accompanying carer offer applies. SUMMARY:Bleats & Squeaks
DESCRIPTION:Two hours of behind-the-scenes fun on the farm. We’ll hop into some of the animal pens\, where only our rangers normally go.  Walk the goats. Meet our cute Guinea pigs and learn about caring for them. Feed the Guineas their favourite snacks\, brush and snuggle them. \nThere’s crafting to make an enrichment toy for your favourite member of our animal family and something for you to take home too. \nWe’ll take time out for a drink and snack. At the end of the session\, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance to congratulate you on being a junior farmer! \nSuitable for 3-10 yrs. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Booking is essential. Adults £6.95 (Occombe Farm Park & Play Annual Pass Holders are free) Prices include entry to Occombe Farm Park & Play on the event day. \nIf you are pregnant or think you could be\, it is recommended that you should not take part in this experience or be the supervising adult.
