This opportunity combines on the job training through working with our experienced education team in delivering the Trust’s innovative environmental education programme. The education team deliver to a variety of groups including schools, community groups, public and residential groups and activities include; cookery, rock pooling, pond and stream studies, local food and gardening, forest school and running the UKs first Sea Green School®.
These placements allow individuals to get valuable hands on experience as well as complete a range of tailored made short courses delivered through the Trust’s training centre including; getting creative with outdoor education, woodland and marine ecology & identification, activity planning and the curriculum, introduction to smallholdings and wildlife legislation.
The Trainees will be based at the Trust's organic farm, Occombe Farm which is open to the public all year round. Placements will run for 9 - 12 months and shared accommodation will be available. Click here for more information
