Reports of Oiled Seabirds in the Bay

Published: 8 February 2014

The Trust has received a number of reports of oiled seabirds, mostly guillemots and razorbills, being found across the bay. We are working with the RSPCA to rescue seabirds where we can. The stricken birds are taken up to the West Hatch Wildlife Centre where the staff there work tirelessly to clean and rehabilitate the seabirds.

We ask anyone finding any seabirds affected to contact the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 and leave as much infomation as possible. We are co-ordinating our response with them.
