New arrivals at Occombe Farm

New arrivals at Occombe Farm

Published: 11 March 2016

There are two new arrivals at Occombe Farm!

Little lambs Heather and Jasper are just a few weeks old and were taken in by rangers at Occombe after their mother rejected them. Visitors to the farm can see the two woolly newcomers in their pen, but they aren't allowed out just yet.

A farm ranger said 'Heather and Jasper and very young and adjusting to life in their new home at Occombe. We bottle feed them every day and they seem to love human contact, as well as a full belly! They're doing really well'.

Occombe Farm is open to the public 7 days a week and is free to explore. There is a cafe on site and an outdoor play area. The farm is managed by Torbay Coast and Countryside trust, a local conservation charity that relies on the generosity of the public to manage over 1700 acres of Torbay's coastline and woodland.
