School Visits

As an independent conservation charity that manages over 1800 acres across Torbay we host hundreds of school visits and groups everyyear with around 7000 children and adults enjoying Ranger led activities at our sites.

Our staff are trained and experienced in running a wide range of activities which can be tailored to your requirements and linked to your curriculum or interests.

We offer safe access to a variety of specialist, high quality habitats such as streams, ponds, woodland, farmland, coast and rocky shore and we provide all the equipment and materials that your students will need for their visit.

You can find out more about our sites by clicking here, arrangements for the day here, health and safety information here and charges and booking information here.

Testimonials

I have just returned from a day at Occombe farm with my Granddaughters class in Babbacombe Primary School and I just wanted to put in writing what a wonderful day the staff gave the children. They seemed to fit in so many things and made everything so interesting. They were all so pleasant and helpful.Yet again the Countryside Trust did an amazing job

Thank you, Sue Day (Mrs)
