Children love picking sweet blackberries in autumn and turning their picked blackberries into a tasty treat. But, there is so much more than blackberries to forage in the wild. This one day course will give you the skills to be able to identify wild food that can be found around your local area and give you the confidence to lead a foraging session with children. The course will also provide some simple recipes to cook with the children in an outdoor environment or back in the kitchen.
The course will run from 10am - 4pm you can arrive from 9:45am and enjoy tea, coffee and a yummy snack
Please bring the following with you; waterproofs, warm clothing, sturdy footwear, notebook and pen.
Please note that foraging is seasonal and ingredients and recipes will change from course to course. There may also be slight variation in the sessions delivered.
