Our Cockington visitor centre is now closed after the summer season.

Our visitor centre at Cockington Country Park is a beautifully converted Linhay, converted during the Green Heart Restoration Project. Pop in to discover more about Cockington’s history or browse our range of unique gifts. Find us in the heart of Cockington Village, open every Thursday to Sunday and Bank Holiday.

Unique Gifting

Browse our great range of beautiful, unique gifts and products, ranging from hand made soaps, chutneys, jewellery and gifts for children. Most are sourced from local artisan producers and all sales go towards the care of Cockington Country park and many other green spaces across Torbay that we manage.

We are brimming with stories about Cockington’s unique natural heritage and history. Find out about who first created the park, how many trees grow in the arboretum and much more. Our volunteers are all local and passionate about our stunning park.

Let us help you plan your visit to Cockington Country Park, we have maps to guide you around each of the 5 estate walks. We know the best place to picnic! And why not challenge us to name every tree in the parks stunning arboretum!

We are open 10.30am to 4.30pm every Thursday and Friday, 11.00am to 5.00pm every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday, April to October. We look forward to meeting you!
