Visitor Centre

On arrival in the village centre there is a pay and display car park and nearby a Visitor Information Centre run by volunteers from the Friends of Cockington.

2. The Drum

The Drum

Village pub designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and opened in 1936, does hot food and has a terrace to sit outside.

The Mill

Former working watermill that powered a sawmill in the village centre.

The centre of the village has a number of cafes and small shops. Horse carriage rides pick up from here as well.

5. Water Meadows

Leading down to the seafront from the village accessible on raised boardwalk.

The original entrance and drive up to the Court.

Three lakes dating back to the mediaeval period.

8. Gamekeeper's Cottage

Gamekeeper's Cottage

Home to the last Gamekeeper George Giles who left in 1936.

Planted with an avenue of Lime Trees it leads up to the Court.
