When to see:

This beautiful orchid is best seen in flower from mid May to early July.

Where to see:

In areas of short limestone grassland, particularly around the entrance to the Northern fort, and on the slope opposite the front of the Visitor Centre.

Did you know?:

This orchid gets its name as its flower mimics a female bee, both in scent and shape to attract male bees as a means of transferring pollen.
