The Friends of Berry Head are an independent group of volunteers from the local community with a passion and pride in Berry Head National Nature Reserve.
Their principle aims are:
To endeavour to protect, conserve and enhance Berry Head NNR as a place of freedom, recreation and enjoyment for the long term benefit of all sections of the local community and visitors.
To gather input from local people and representative groups to help assist in the protection and enhancement of the landscape, wildlife and archaeology of Berry Head NNR.
To raise funds within the limitations of an unincorporated association to help further those aims.

Membership of The Friends of Berry Head is open to anybody who works on, contributes to or visits Berry Head.
The group meets every two months to discuss projects, fundraising opportunities and give community feedback on the Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust's management of the site.
Information on The Friends of Berry Head meetings and current projects will be displayed on the Friends Wall in the Guardhouse Café, located within the National Nature Reserve itself.
