Nature Trail Visit our 2km easy-access nature trail which runs through the heart of a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), stopping off at the duck pond and bird hide along the way. A network of wildlife cameras beam live images back to the main visitor centre for you to see. Farm Shop & Cafe Enjoy a real taste of Devon in our farm shop - showcasing the best of locally produced food and drink.  Here you will find a traditional butchery, West country cheeses, freshly baked breads, preserves, beverages, fresh fruit and vegetables - plus a wealth of other produce from artisan producers. Choose succulent home cooked meats, delicious local pasties, quiche and pies from our delicatessen counter - ideal for a family picnic or trouble-free lunch or supper. Savour seasonal dishes in our licensed café. The cafe serves delicious home-cooked food, selecting fresh ingredients from the farm shop. Education Centre Occombe is a popular location for school visits, and we opened a new education centre here last year. The building was made entirely from low-carbon technologies, including straw bales as walls and used car tyres as foundations!  Occombe hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy. Here, we aim to reconnect people with food, farming and the countryside. Interpretation boards and interactive media around the farm demonstrate how the food we eat shapes the countryside we live in. It is free to enter and open to the public all year round.
