Ruby Red Bequest
The herd of Ruby Red cows at Occombe are a well-loved feature at Occombe and serve as an introduction to farming, food and the countryside for the many children, and adults, visiting the farm. In 2006 an anonymous bequest of £70,000 was given to the Trust which enabled us to buy the herd of cows, as well as some of the equipment needed to look after all the animals at the farm.
