The field trips are designed to enable active, quality, relevant learning to take place. They are also `hands on' and fun, with creative learning ideas incorporated into the visit to provide a really stimulating and motivating experience for the students.

All the specialist materials and equipment are provided by the Trust and follow up ideas and materials can be provided for the teachers to use back in the classroom too.

Timing: The field trips can be a half day, full day or more than one day, depending on the school's / group's requirements. A selection of the following activities are chosen, with guidance from the Ranger.
