With our clay oven course just around the corner, the base and shelter for the oven has now been completed by a team from Groundwork. We're really grateful to Groundwork who kindly donated their time and effort to come and help us. The clay oven building course is running on the 19th and 20th of June and there are still a couple of places available. Booking is essential; details can be found on the Occombe events webpage. Later in the summer we'll be able to make pizzas and bread in the garden, so it's another exciting development for the garden!
The weather this week has been terrific for the garden leading to some splendid growth. Take a look at our tomatoes which are starting to form in the polytunnels (although yet to ripen!). Our salads and herbs are still going strong and are on sale in the Occombe Farm shop. More produce will be coming soon!
