Signs and cannons
14th March 2010
Over the last week a team of Princes Trust volunteers have been helping us. They have been working in the Artillery Store with Chris building boxes for tables to go in that will be used by school groups. They have also repainted the Cold War Bunker in its gunship grey, which is now looking very smart. Some of the group also helped to prepare the cannon outside the visitor centre for painting. They all worked hard despite the relentless cold wind - so a big thank you to the team for helping us.
We have also had alot of the external signage installed now, there are still some more panels to go in this week. We have new signs at entrance points, aswell as two new welcome signs as you enter the headland - come and see them for yourself.
