Occombe is a wildlife haven and the Visitor Centre is a wealth of information on the species and habitats you can find on the farm. Through touchscreens view live pictures of wildlife captured on cameras across the site, see the day-to-day running of the farm and read all about where our food comes from.

Occombe represents a fragment of our farming past, a time when farming practices were more in tune with the wildlife that lived on our farms and with natural cycles. Recent research has shown both how damaging modern farming has been to wildlife and how beneficial organic and other environmentally friendly farming can be.
