This page is here to provide you with accessibility guidelines and information
on how to use the Occombe Farm website.
Our website design policy for Occombe Farm
We have worked hard to ensure that this website is both attractive and accessible.
If you experience any problems when navigating the site, please advise us so that
we can look into how we can make the website more accessible to you. Below is
a summary of the main ways in which we have built this site to optimise its accessibility:
This site uses scaleable text, so that you can increase or decrease the
size of writing by changing your web browser settings.
All images which are used on the site to convey information include a description of what the image shows
and any important information that it provides.
All of the web pages have been designed to make sense to screen reader users.
The navigation system and text content is structured on the page to follow
a linear path (top-to-bottom, left-to-right) which will make sense when read
aloud. Important functions are found at the beginning of each page so that
screen reader users can navigate the site quickly and easily without having
to listen to all of the information that is not required.
All text has been placed on contrasting backgrounds to allow users with
colour differentiation disabilities (such as colour blindness) to view the
text easily.
Pages have been optimised for tab indexing and access key functions have
been provided. The access key shortcuts are provided below.
